2. do some research on Search Engine Optimization (SEO) keywords. There are free tools on the Internet to find out how many times keywords are searched for
(http://inventory.overture.com). use these keywords and see of they relate to your blog and leverage the text and other key elements around these keywords.
3. Make sure to put the keywords in the URL path (domain.com/keywords-you-want-to-rank-for). Using hyphens is the best scenario then underscores. Make sure not to have spaces in the path names.
4. Include the keywords in the title, meta information and headings of the page.
5. If you do include images, make sure they have alt tags. keeps the tags small and sweet at around three to four words. Search engines won’t usually deduct points for having sentences but if your tags include tons of spam it could hurt your page.
